This Artistic Seat is between the Visitors Information Centre (VIC), and Glenelg Beach. It is made of multiple light-brown boards on their sides, and fixed together, with symmetrically placed gaps. While it not obvious on how the boards are secured, it may be, that they are clamped by the stainless steel brackets on either side, that are attached to the stainless steel legs.
At the 'tail-end' is some square stainless steel tubing, with a mitred right-angle bend, and then some curved stainless steel pipe added to look more like a tail.
At the 'head-end' is a similar piece of square stainless steel tubing, with a mitred right-angle bend, to which a 30 cm diameter, round stainless steel 'drum' is attached for the head. A conical stainless steel 'snout', with a couple of nostril holes, and a mouth opening is attached to the head. A large bright red tongue (almost as long as the head and snout) protrudes from the mouth.
The head also has some stainless steel pieces attached, to finish the head. Some bolts and large washers are used for the eyes, with some narrow curved pieces form the eyebrows. There also some shaped stainless steel pieces used for the ears.
The seat is resting on two stainless steel brackets, each with some 'balls' added, to resemble the paws.
On either side of the seat is bone-shaped plaque with the 'hash-tag' #saltydog.
