"She performed with the Barn's Players and the Community Players, sharing the stage with another local celebrity, Laverne Light. She also taught dance and eventually took over Iris Barbora's dance studio. Roz was very active politically. In the 1960's she was the chairman of the local party's board of elections, overseeing the volunteers at the polls during elections. She belonged to "Push-Back" and was very active in local issues pertaining to the environment...In 1968 Roz began teaching yoga locally and quickly became a sought-after teacher... She was an active member of Eckankar for over 40 years and at the time of her death was clergy in Eckankar. Roz was also an avid writer...Roz wrote three books on spirituality: "A Guide to Centering - The Harmonious Response to Life", "A Spiritual Concept - The Real Nature of Things", "A Matter of Life and Death - Essays on the Mysteries of Life and Death...Her fourth book "Life's Tapestry" was published last year and is a book of poetry and photographs of her beloved Cayuga Lake. "
