"The Sainte Marguerite church, with its flamboyant-style choir, dates from 3 different eras, its walls bear the traces of successive restoration.
Inside, it has a beautiful oak wood paneling and a 17th century Italian Renaissance ceiling. Its massive tower, located between the choir and the nave, has a defensive character with its thick walls and narrow loopholes.
No doubt it served as a communal shelter for the population in the grip of incursions of English and Spanish in particular. Upstairs, we can see the remains of a fireplace hearth that allowed to heat and boil oil to defend against the invaders of the time. "

" L’église Sainte Marguerite, avec son choeur aux fenêtres de style flamboyant, daterait de 3 époques différentes ses murs portent en effet les traces de restauration successives.
Elle a gardé à l’intérieur, un fort beau revêtement de boiserie en chêne et un plafond de style renaissance italienne datant du XVIIème siècle. Sa tour massive, située entre le choeur et la nef, revêt un caractère défensif avec ses murs très épais et ses meurtrières étroites.
Nul doute qu’elle servit d’abri communal pour la population en proie aux incursions des anglais et des espagnols notamment. A l’étage, on peut apercevoir les vestiges d’un foyer à l’âtre qui permettait de se chauffer et de faire bouillir de l’huile pour se défendre contre les envahisseurs de l’époque. "
