St James Anglican Church was constructed in 1883 of locally quarried sandstone in the Victorian Gothic style,the windows are of the pointed arch type and there is a triple leadlight window at the end of the nave, the roof is of corrugated iron and has three vents high on either side.
The unusual steel framed belltower which resembles a windmill is located a short distance away
