This old wooden passenger coach has been resting near the former Concord & Claremont Railroad depot in Contoocook since 2007. The coach began its life in 1907 as a modern coach purchased by the Boston & Maine Railroad from the Pullman Company. The Contoocook Railroad Museum web site describes the history of The 1246.
