This painted utility box gets its inspiration from a nearby business. It is located on the north side of Republican Street east of 9th Avenue North in the South Lake Union area of Seattle, WA.

You don't have to look far to see what inspired the images on this utility box. It's the Athletic Awards building, which is one block to the west. The south side contains four rows of awards of various sizes and shapes. The north side is a painting of the 10' high "World's Largest Trophy" that is located on the roof of the Athletic Awards building. The west side is a complex geometric design and the east side has been obscured by the addition of a second unpainted utility box. Behind this box you can see the image of a ticket.
The utility box was decorated in 2016 by Matt Hollister & Sasha Barr in conjunction with the Urban ArtWorks Project in which local businesses and illustrators collaborated on ideas and design of each box.
