"A traditional, friendly village pub, comfortable atmosphere, popular for food, carries 2 West country ales, one always LocAle. Pleasant garden area features wood fired pizza oven and BBQ, reguarly used instead of Sunday lunch during summer. Look at the blackboard for amusing historial events on the same day of the year."

"About us -

We first saw The Molesworth Arms all boarded up and looking very sorry for itself in the summer of 2015 so we decided to make a lifestyle change, move to Devon and save the pub.

Our simple aim and ethos was to run a friendly pub that consistently serves good food and to give every patron a warm welcome and an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

The Molesworth Arms re-opened for business in December 2015.

We build close ties with our suppliers and work with them to showcase the wealth of high quality produce in our area and to help generate business within the local economy. Our meat is bought directly from a local farm and our fish from local suppliers. In 2017 we will be growing more of our own vegetables, fruit and herbs.

All our dishes are prepared and made from scratch in our kitchen and designed by our Head Chef Mark & during the summer we open up our outdoor kitchen with a wood fired pizza oven serving delicious handmade pizzas.

Our bar has a great variety of drinks for everyone; a fine selection of wines from across the world, local organic ales, interesting non-alcoholic drinks and fresh locally roasted coffee.

We can accommodate private functions and parties and hold regular meetings for our local interest groups and businesses. We have recently completed two luxury letting rooms with en-suite bath/shower rooms.

We are a husband and wife team employing local full-time and part-time staff and all enjoy working together. We have a special local here Tiggy the ginger cat who visits us regularly and enjoys everyones company!"
