Auchtermuchty is a small town in the north-western part of the Kingdom of Fife in Scotland. The A91 road runs through the town and it is on the northern side of the road to the east of the town centre that this wall box can be found.

The box is situated around halfway up a ten foot wall next to a narrow part of pavement just west of the junction with Back Dykes, and directly opposite the junction with Bow Road.

Despite copious amounts of red paint, the VR embossment is clearly visible with a crown in between the letters. The box shows wear and tear towards the bottom.

Box No. KY15 310
