This small and inactive but well-tended cemetery is southeast of Hinton, Oklahoma. There are only a handful of headstones and the graves are old; the newest I found was dated 1926. A few of the headstones are in German, and the names and dates told a story of German immigrants coming to this new land, maybe staying for a while, then moving on after the loss of those dear to them. The "upper" cemetery is at the posted coordinates, and there are a few headstones lower on the hill. Four small markers in this "lower" cemetery tell the tragic tale of infants (including a set of twins) that did not survive their first year. One can only imagine the tears that have been shed here.
