Just two years before the Centenary of the Yankalilla Methodist Church, there was an alliance of three of the Protestant Churches (Methodist, Presbyterian, and Congregational) to form the Uniting Church of Australia.
The 'Foundation Stone' is a Commemorative tablet, for 70 years, and placed in 1949. There is also a 100 years Anniversary plaque, on the church, from 1979.
