The basement of the Sheerar Cultural Center is the location of the Stillwater History Museum. Entrance is on the east side of the building (signs are posted), and parking is available streetside on Duncan and W. 7th Ave.

We are dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Stillwater, Oklahoma. We seek to tell thought-provoking stories of Stillwater’s past and to connect these stories to modern issues through engaging experiences. The Museum features exhibits about Stillwater and Payne County from Indian Territory until today.
