John (1868-1959) and Edna (1888-1971) Poe are honored with a bench which stands in the Goldberg & Joseph Heritage Park in the 100 block of E. Main Street. This is a small area amid the downtown buildings which honors numerous families who lived and served in Wilburton over the years.
This is a green metal slatted bench located near the south end of the park. A bronze plaque reads:
