The Utah Historical Society assigned this location an inventory number of CR-07-742, and that number is used by the National Register of Historic Places in the nomination form for the Helper Commercial District. The nomination form notes that this 1929 one-story building once housed the Helper Journal, managed by A. J. Stafford during the early thirties. It also indicates that "The building facade has been somewhat modified.", something that has since been undone: Compare a Street View on Google Maps from 2012 to the 2018 photos in the gallery.
