"Name: Thias House.
"Location: Washington.
"Investigated: July 2007.
"What Makes it Haunted : The Thias House has what is known as a residual haunting.
"Steven LaChance, a paranormal investigator, explains a residual haunting as "a video tape that replays." The same thing reoccurs every night.
"It sounds as if cabinet doors open and someone enters the bathroom. The investigative team has also picked up EVP's, or electro voice phenomenon's, of whispering.
"History: The house was built in 1888 by the Thias family, who emigrated from Germany in 1858.
"Although there is no solid proof that anyone passed away in the house, the Thias family lived there for over 100 years.
'"There is a good chance that someone may have died of natural causes," said Debbie Ballmann, current owner of the Thias house. "It's really just a peaceful old house," she added." ~ The Missourian, By Kaprise Schmidt, 26 Oct. 2007
