It was built in 1893, right where in the Middle Ages stood the town´s elm tree, also called Saint Francis´s elm tree.
Fountain
In the 30s a lunatic damaged and tore off the fountain’s stone upper plate and cone. The fountain lies at the heart of the town’s historical centre, thus being a reference point for every citizen in town.
