To commemorate the sixtieth year of Confederation, Canadians in the United-States gave this in token of their devotion to the country of their birth and as a proud tribute to the achievement of its founders.

Entrance fees (if it applies): Free tickets must be obtained to visit the statue of Lieutenant Colonel George Harold Baker. All visits to Parliament are offered free of charge. Tickets for guided tours and the Peace Tower and Memorial Chamber are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
