Carlton Weaver is buried in Robber's Cave State Park, located on Highway 2 about seven miles north of Wilburton. He was born in 1881, and came to Indian Territory in the 1890's. Over the next five decades, he forged a place in the early government of Oklahoma, and it was his donation of land to the State which helped establish Robber's State Park.
His headstone and burial ground is located in a small area next to the parking lot in front of the park's Nature Center. Nearby is a monument which lays out the life of this remarkable man.
His headstone reads:
