A combined WWI / WWII memorial cross on Cornhill, Near St Mary's church, Hemyock.

The memorial consists of a sqaure base surmounted by a tapering plinth, shaft and wheel cross with celtic knotwork design. There is an inscription on bronze plaques on one side of the plinth and on the step.

The inscription reads:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN
GRATEFUL AND AFFECTIONATE
MEMORY
OF

(NAMES)

WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919
'LEST WE FORGET'


and on a smaller plaque on the step of the base -
THESE GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE 1939 - 1945 WAR
