A church clock on the south side of the west tower of St Mary's church, Hemyock. It has an electric blue face with gilded roman numerals and hands.
Originally the church had a spire on top of the tower, but it was removed in the late 1600’s and may be the reason why the present tower is not very high. The clock face has been inserted into a blocked (ca. 15th century) square-headed belfry opening on the south side of the bell tower.
The church was largely rebuilt in 1847, and the clock probably dates from around that time.
