The Ken Cox Field Centre is an outdoor classroom in the Constance Creek wetlands, surrounded by wetlands and forest. The centre was built as a memorial to a mentor of young people interested in conservation, Ken Cox (1944-2004). The field centre was completed in 2007. It is located along the far, eastern edge of the Cattail Loop trail. This trail system is maintained by the school board's Bill Mason Outdoor Education and Environment Studies Centre.
