It looks like this sharply peaked, grey headstone is formed from a sheet of shale. It is surrounded by a low wrought iron railing; and stands beside another thin 'slate' headstone, that is most likely of Susanah's father, which has a Masonic square and compass symbol on it. Susanah's headstone reads:
