Jess Harper Park is an area well used by the residents of Talihina. Second Street (Highway 271) bends around the north side of the town where the park is located. The park is named after Jess Harper, a man who served the State of Oklahoma in elected and appointed positions from 1917 to 1958.

The park has a baseball field, and a community swimming pool. There is playground equipment, and a picnic pavilion and fire pits. The sign does not show open hours and states "Open to the general public at all times."
