Grapevine City Council commissioned a butterfly sculpture for the botanical gardens in 2017.

The sculpture "Transition to Beauty" is approximately 22 feet high. The butterflies are made of metal. The piece was created by Linda Lewis-Roark, owner of Grapevine Foundry.

Visitors are able to stand in the middle of it and take in its beauty.
