While there isn't much reason normally to go onto this side road, that goes parallel to Main South Road before connecting with it again, there is a concrete pedestal near where there was an information sign (in the past), that has a beveled top edge, with a circular Orientation Table set on it.
An interesting aside for this table is, the distances shown are in Nautical Miles (1 Nautical Mile is roughly 2 kilometres - 1.85 km) There is an arrow pointing North, with the following locations indicated, in a clock-wise direction:
