This plain wooden cross, at first appears as if attached to the building, but it is not. It stands on a pole inserted in the ground just in front of the siding of the building.
The cross itself is made of wood, stands about 6' above the ground, cross itself about 5 foot in height and 3 foot in width.
The cemetery is sitting in a huge natural bowl, almost like an amphitheater, with the cemetery chapel as the stage area. This cemetery has only one Famous resident. He was a major league baseball player to gain fame, but was a World War II veteran with 5, yes I said 5 Bronze Stars...
The old section has tombstones, but most interments are the modern, and neutral in ground flat stones with no distinction of family pride or character.
