Sitting in a huge natural bowl, almost like an amphitheater, with the cemetery chapel as the stage area.
The slopes also contain the statue of Jesus, the crucifixion, the Virgin Mary, and a a bell memorial, and a small, but unique children only section

This cemetery has only one Famous resident. He was a major league baseball player to gain fame, but was a World War II veteran with 5, yes I said 5, Bronze Stars...
The old section has tombstones, but most interments are the modern, and neutral in ground flat stones with no distinction of family pride or character.

The chapel is unimposing, pole barn construction, used only for final prayers and honors.

"The Catholic Church teaches that death is not an end of life but a change. In the burial of a Christian, family and friends celebrate the faith of a deceased person and Christ’s victory over death and suffering. Christian burial is a time for family and friends to console each other with the healing words of Christ and the liturgy of the Church." ~ St. Francis Borgia
