Pont bowstring métallique à deux arcs parallèles non
contreventés en caisson de 1,60 m de large dont la
portée est de 139,50 m au-dessus du Canal Albert.
Le rapport flèche portée des arcs est de 1/6. Les 24
suspentes en câbles clos sont croisées et inclinées
à 45 degrés.
Le tablier qui a une largeur de 23,30 m porte
quatre voies de circulation et deux trottoirs. Il est
constitué d’une dalle orthotrope dont les traverses
sont entredistantes de 5,0 m et les raidisseurs
longitudinaux sont en auget.
Les éléments préfabriqués de la structure de
1300 tonnes ont été assemblés sur la rive droite du
canal. L’ensemble, transporté par des kamags, a été
déposé sur deux barges de forte capacité et ensuite
acheminé à l’emplacement définitif.

braced in boxes of 1.60 m wide whose
range is 139.50 m above the Albert Canal.
The arrow ratio of the arcs is 1/6. The 24
closed cable ties are crossed and inclined
at 45 degrees.
The apron which is 23.30 m wide
four lanes and two sidewalks. It is
consisting of an orthotropic slab whose sleepers
are 5.0m interstitial and the stiffeners
longitudinal are in bucket.
The prefabricated elements of the structure of
1300 tons were assembled on the right bank of the
channel. The whole, transported by kamags, was
deposited on two barges of high capacity and then
forwarded to the final location.
