I have been donating blood most of my life, mostly through bloodmobiles which would come to my work places. I retired two years ago and since then, I have been donating platelets, something which I didn't have the time to do when I worked as it takes several hours to complete. So, once every two weeks, I visit the Miller Keystone Blood Center and work with some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Several times, I have had mild reactions to what I was doing, and the whole team would work with me to be sure that I was feeling ok and to do everything possible to make me comfortable. The Miller Keystone Blood Center comes highly recommended by me and I am glad that I can do something to make others feel better.
