This building is now home to the Raine & Horne real estate company. The Blue Plaque is on the left-hand side of the portico entry to the building. It reads:
English, Scottish and Australian Bank
Constructed for the ES&A Bank, this building was completed in 1927
by local builder, Ray Milton, at a cost of £4000. The architect was
F.K. Milne who also designed the Adelaide Oval scoreboard. At the time it
was the tallest brickwork structure in Victor Harbor. The chimney on the
southern wall is associated with the manager's upstairs living quarters, a
typical feature of many older bank buildings. The classical porch led to
an interior with fittings of polished blackwood.
