Vrtulník byl prevezen 6. brezna 1991 z Prostejova do depozitáre LHS Vyškov.
Mil Mi-4 A Hound A registracní znacky 0599 (v. c. 0599) byl strední víceúcelový vrtulník klasické konstrukce s ctyrlistým nosným rotorem a trílistým vyrovnávacím rotorem. Stroj je vybaven pevným (nezatahovatelným) ctyrbodovým kolovým podvozkem. Verze A je lehce vylepšená puvodní verze. Liší se zkrácenou streleckou gondolou, zmenou zasklení pilotní kabiny a upravenými listy nosného rotoru. Byl pohánen jedním motorem AŠ-82.

O výrobci
Moskevský vrtulníkový závod M. L. Mila (anglicky oznacován jako Mil Helicopters) je ruská konstrukcní kancelár založená v roce 1947 Michailem Leontjevicem Milem. V roce 2006 se Mil, spolecne dalšími ostatními ruskými výrobci vrtulníku Kamov a Rostvertol, stal soucástí koncernu Ruské vrtulníky. Obchodní znacka Mil zustala u vrtulníku zachována.
Závod sídlí v Ljuberckém rajónu v Moskevské oblasti, nedaleko Moskvy.

The helicopter was transferred from Prostejov on 6 March 1991 to the depository of LHS Vyškov.
Mil Mi-4 A Hound The registration mark 0599 (0599) was a medium-duty multipurpose helicopter of a classical construction with a four-bladed rotor and three-lane balancing rotor. The machine is equipped with a fixed (non-retractable) four-point wheeled chassis. Version A is slightly upgraded to the original version. It varies with a shortened shooting gondola, changing the cockpit glazing and trimmed rotor blades. It was powered by one AS-82 engine.

About the manufacturer
The Moscow helicopter race M. Milo (Millic Helicopters) is a Russian design office founded in 1947 by Mikhail Leontievich Mile. In 2006, Mil, together with other Russian helicopter makers Kamov and Rostvertol, became part of the Russian Helicopter Group. The Mil brand has been retained by helicopters.
The plant is based in the Ljubertsy District in the Moscow region, near Moscow.
