The Tonto National Monument encompasses the Lower and Upper Cliff Dwellings as well as numerous other archeological sites. The visitor's center provides the usual information about the Monument as well as controlling access to the Lower Ruins. Tours can be arranged to the Upper Ruins in the Winter and Park Rangers are present in the Ranger Station and the Lower Ruins to answer questions. Both the Upper and Lower Ruins are archaeologically important cliff dwellings. The visitor's center is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day except December 25th. The center includes a small gift shop and museum.
