A well maintained church with a Bicentennial plaque showing the year of construction as 1865. Collector was bypassed by the highway in 1988 & its population has declined but the church has a regular service on the first, third & fifth Sundays.
It is heritage listed with the NSW Government's Environment & Heritage Office (website below) which describes it as:
The Wesleyan Church, later the Uniting Church, was erected in Collector in 1865. The church remains a prominent building in the village landscape and is recognised as being of local heritage significance.
