The date stone is located high above the front entrance & bears the denomination of the church as at that time in history. It is heritage listed with the NSW Government's Environment & Heritage Office (visit link) which describes it as:

"The Wesleyan Church, later the Uniting Church, was erected in Collector in 1865. The church remains a prominent building in the village landscape and is recognised as being of local heritage significance".

The church is in good condition & despite the village declining in population since being bypassed in 1988, it continues to offer a regular service.
Year of construction: 1865
