A bronze plaque, with a blue background, is embedded in a small, angled concrete plinth, presumably at the site of the grave, of James Waller. The cast inscription reads:

JAMES WALLER
Who died at stockyards
14 March 1865
of a fall from his horse 36 yr
Husband of Harriet nee Chandler
Father of nine children

James was born ~1827 in Godalming, Surrey, England, and immigrated in 1849. He married Harriet Chandler on 11 May 1852, in O'Halloran Hill, SA. She being born 14 April 1835, in East Acton, Acton, and died 3 Paril 1885 in Yankalilla, SA. [ex-website link below]
