It is one of the most important works of Madrid modernismo and shows clear influences of the French and Belgian Art Nouveau.
It emphasizes the contradictory effect that is produced by the verticality of the viewpoint with the pronounced horizontality presented by the three lines of balconies, together with an exterior decoration with moldings, corbels, cornices and wrought iron in the balconies, where compositions based on curves tend to simulate stems and plant forms.
