This large bottle oven, with wide circular hovel, can be seen from the towpath of the Trent and Mersey Canal at the coordinates given.

The Grade II listed bottle oven is located in the main courtyard the Top Bridge Works site, which dates back more than 200 years. (visit link)

Davenport & Co first used the site in the 1790s, the Price Brothers moved to the Top Bridge Works in 1934 and joined with Kensington Potteries in 1962.
