Cayley is a very small rural farming community of approximately 350 residents. Cayley is surrounded by vast open hay and crop fields and is north of Nanton off Hwy. 2 about 15 km.
The Community Hall is operated by the Cayley I.O.O.F. No. 103 and Fernleaf Rebekah No. 36. The hall also serves as a community hall, senior centre and a disaster centre for the citizens of Cayley.
Some of the events that are held are barn dances, holiday dinners, craft fairs, musically programs and live performances.
The Cayley I.O.O.F. was established in 1913 and provides assistance and fund raising events to help the citizens of Cayley. They support the local food bank and other charitable organizations.
