Meagher County Fire Department is located in White Sulphur Springs and has approximately 900 residents. It is a rural community primarily cattle country with large hay fields. This area will not disappoint you, it has vast blue skies only as seen in Montana's Big Sky Country.

What drew my attention was the siren on top of a very tall iron structure between the two buildings. There are about 10 cones and it is primarily use for summoning the volunteer firefighters and emergency personnel.

Under the siren is an old Mc Shane Bell Foundry bell dated 1901. Though it still has its clapper it does not appear to be functioning. It is attached by its canon with an inscription and company logo on the front of the waist. Considering this bell is over a hundred years old it is still in good condition. This bell based on its location could be from the original firehouse.

The fire department consists of three buildings. The main building closest to town hall has four bay doors, the smaller building has 2 bay doors and not too far is a larger blue building with four bay doors, office space and training rooms.
