"Oriented west, the beach of Pointe Marin unfurls its 1.5km of fine sand facing the bay of Sainte-Anne and offers a panorama of beauty on the southern reliefs of Martinique.

Sitting at the edge of the water is the coast of the peninsula, the dull Aca overlooking Pointe Borgnèse, and in the distance, the silhouette of the Diamond Rock. In the evening, the spectacle of the sunset is sumptuous.

It is not for nothing that Club Med "Buccaneers" settled here in the 1960s.

Lined with its full length by a fairly dense curtain of trees, the beach has many nooks to shelter from the heat of the sun, hang your hammock, or play petanque in the shade of coconut trees.

Families and groups of friends appreciate. Especially, the transparent and shallow water invites to quiet swimming and allows children to move safely.

And then, there is the animation of small restaurants located on the beach where it is possible to enjoy delicious grilled fish and small creole dishes, or simply to afford a ti-punch to sip your feet in the sand at the hour of the aperitif.

And then there are these hirers installed on the beach offering to rent windsurfers, small catamarans and scooters of the seas.

Coming from Marin, just before the town of Sainte-Anne, turn on the right at the municipal stadium. Pay entry for cars (3 Euros). Parking just behind the beach.

If you come from the village of Sainte-Anne, go for a walk. The Pointe Marin is only ten minutes away, and the walk has very beautiful views of the bay, especially at the cemetery. "
