I know this covered bridge all too well. In 2003, I spent many many hours here, searching for a clue stage of a puzzle cache. It turned out that I was looking in the wrong spot, because an object used in a letterboxing style clue had been removed from the park after a tree fell down on it. I picked a different park bench and it sent me to the covered bridge. There was nothing there! Eventually, the owner fixed the cache and I logged a well-earned find.
Today I returned to the park to find some new (and easier) caches that had popped up since my visits in 2003. I paused at the bridge -- but not for very long!
As you go around the one-way loop road at the far end of Brush Creek Park, turn into the parking lot BEFORE the covered bridge. You can park within 150 feet or so of the bridge this way. If you miss the parking turnoff, go around again! Do not park along the edge of the road, and you can't drive up to the bridge. Cross the bridge to find some nice geocaches.
Description of Covered Bridge: The bridge was restored in 1976. It has a natural looking exterior, but a fairly modern steel truss structure inside.
