Preble Congregational Church is located at 1953 Preble Road in the village of Preble.
It began life in 1804 as the First Congregational Society of Tully. In 1808 the township of Preble was formed, and the Church changed its name accordingly. The present day church was built in 1831, and originally sited in Prebles Corners, a few miles west.
The church was moved in 1859 to its present site. In 1946 the Presbyterian and United Methodist Congregations merged. The new church congregation was renamed Preble Congregational church, its present-day title.
The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
