Le parc de la Serna aux limites de Ransart, de Jumet et de Gosselies est un espace vert très particulier. S’y promener, c’est à la fois goûter au charme de la nature et frôler les ombres des Comtes de La Serna.

Les promeneurs seront ravis de rencontrer diverses espèces animales et de découvrir quelques essences d'arbres rares.Le parc compte également trois étangs dont le premier a été gardé intact afin de préserver la végétation spontanée de ce lieu.

Chaque année à la fin avril-début mai, le parc de la Serna est le théâtre de la somptueuse floraison des jacinthes des bois.

L'Arboretum de la Serna est aussi un circuit écologique composé de 30 stations qui font découvrir les principales essences d'arbres.

The Serna Park at the edge of Ransart, Jumet and Gosselies is a very special green space. To walk there, it is at the same time to taste the charm of the nature and to graze the shades of the Counts of La Serna.

Walkers will be delighted to meet various animal species and discover some species of rare trees. The park also has three ponds, the first of which has been kept intact to preserve the spontaneous vegetation of this place.

Every year at the end of April-beginning of May, the Serna Park is the scene of the sumptuous flowering of the hyacinths of the woods.

The Arboretum de la Serna is also an ecological circuit composed of 30 stations which make discover the main species of trees.
