Archbald Pothole State Park is in the northeastern part of the state of Pennsylvania and actually does have a pothole!

Yes, indeed, there is a pothole! From the park's website (visit link) the pothole is 38 feet deep and has an elliptical shape. I know that when we visited, the pothole was really hard to see into because it seemed to curve backwards.

This tiny park had some very pretty trails to wander around and, of course, being Pennsylvania, there were lots of rocks! With only 150 acres in the park, the only other major activity in this park is hunting.

Archbald Pothole, as with many Pennsylvania State Parks, use a sticker for their passport stamp instead of a rubber stamp.
