"Garden pollinators are important for plant reproduction. Although a plant may produce both pollen and a pistil, in order to create new seeds it needs help to move the pollen to the pistil. That is where our pollinators, birds, butterflies, bees and other insects come in. Without pollinators plants would die. Because plants are human sources of food and oxygen, it is important to create and support habitats for butter?ies, bees, birds, and other pollinators."
