[GER] Die Feenteichbrücke wurde im Jahr 1884 nach einem Entwurf des Bauingenieurs Franz Andreas Meyer erbaut. Bei Ihrer Errichtung wurden Bauteile verwendet der Brooksbrücke und der Kornhausbrücke verwendet. Beide Brücken wurden im Zuge der Umgestaltung des Hamburger Hafens durch Meyer und dem Bau der Speicherstadt abgerissen.

Von der Kornhaussbrücke stammen die Granit-Brüstung und die vier Säulen, die sich links und rechts der Brückenpfeiler befinden. Sie tragen heute jeweils eine Laterne.

Von der Brooksbrücke stammen die zwei Löwenskulpturen, die vor der Brücke im Wasser der Alster stehen. Sie halten das Hamburger Wappen zwischen den Tatzen.

Die Feenteichbrücke ist 7 m lang und 15,6 m breit. Sie steht auf einem Betonfundament. Auch die mit Feldstein verkleideten Flügelwände bestehen im Kern aus Beton. Der Brückenbogen ist von unten mit Ziegelsteinen verkleidet.

[ENG] The Feenteich Bridge was built in 1884 according to a design by civil engineer Franz Andreas Meyer. The Brooks Bridge and the Kornhaus Bridge were used in their construction. Both bridges were demolished in the course of Meyer's redesign of the port of Hamburg and the construction of the Speicherstadt warehouse district.

The granite balustrade and the four columns to the left and right of the bridge piers originate from the Kornhaussbrücke bridge. Today they each carry a lantern.

The two lion sculptures standing in front of the bridge in the water of the Alster come from the Brooksbrücke. They hold the Hamburg coat of arms between the paws.

The Feenteich Bridge is 7 m long and 15.6 m wide. It stands on a concrete foundation. The core of the wing walls, which are clad with boulder, is also made of concrete. The arch of the bridge is covered with bricks from below.
