Lookout Point trail is a 3.5 km loop trail that leads through mixed forests and forested wetlands before arriving on a bluff overlooking Parry Sound (the water feature, although the town is visible from the lookout).
There are four sections of boardwalk along the trail. In total there are 380 meters of boardwalk (~1250 feet), the longest section being 260 meters in length and the shortest being 20 meters in length. The boardwalks allow visitors to cross through low-lying wet areas of the forest, some with standing water. The boardwalks are only slightly elevation (less than 12" elevation) and do not have railings.
