Schöner Rundweg zu jeder Jahreszeit!
Der Streuobstwiesenweg zählt zu den beliebtesten Wanderwegen in der Region. Mit seinem einzigartigen Thema „Obstanbau“ zeigt der Wanderweg eindrucksvoll die vielen Facetten dieses traditionsreichen Wirtschaftszweiges in der Verbandsgemeinde Weißenthurm und dem gesamten Neuwieder Becken. Obstbäume, -wiesen und längst vergessene Obstbaumsorten säumen hier den Wegesrand. Bei Kettig findet man zu diesem Thema einen informativen Obstlehrgarten.
Nach der Blüte der Kirsch- und Apfelbäume bringt nun die Holunderblüte den aromatischen Abschluss der diesjährigen Blütesaison.

Die Blütezeit der Kirsch- und Apfelbäume ist leider bereits vorbei.

The Streuobstwiesenweg is one of the most popular hiking trails in the region. With its unique theme of "fruit growing", the hiking trail impressively shows the many facets of this traditional branch of industry in the Weißenthurm municipality and the entire Neuwied basin. Fruit trees, meadows and long forgotten fruit tree varieties line the wayside. At Kettig you will find an informative orchard on this subject.
