The Lookout Point Trail is one of 3 hiking trails located in Killbear Provincial Park. This is the longest of the three, being 3.5 kms in length.

The trail is described as follows:
"This trail winds through a variety of forest types and rock outcrops and provides a breathtaking view of Georgian Bay at the midway point. A trail guide explains the ecology of the area"

"The scenic viewpoint at the halfway point on this trail looks eastwards over the islands and bays of the Big Sound. You can see the town of Parry Sound 10 km away."

The paper trail guides are available at the start of the trail. They are provided by the Friends of Killbear. The guide can be used and returned for reuse at the end of the trail, or they can be kept although a donation is requested to offset the cost of printing the guides.
