Op het plein in Val-Meer werd vrijdag 28 september 2012 een nieuwe kunstwerk onthuld. Het werk is gemaakt door Denis Briers en kreeg de titel ‘Tweelingdorp’. De plaatsing van dit kunstwerk kadert in het project "Kunst langs de straat". Het kwam er dankzij het initiatief van de Dorpsraad en de plaatselijke heemkundige kring.

A new artwork was unveiled on the square in Val-Meer on Friday 28 September 2012. The work was made by Denis Briers and received the title 'Twin Village'. The placement of this artwork is part of the "Art along the street" project. It came about thanks to the initiative of the Dorpsraad and the local community.
