This column is made of gray granite, broken at the top to indicate that Mr. Donoviel's life was cut short. It's interesting to note that they chose a broken column and not something with a tree trunk, their usual theme. A chain wraps around the column, with a palm leaf and the Woodmen of the World emblem superimposed on it, and the inscription reads:
